Heritage

The house of knights and burgomasters

Ever since knight Jan Happaert laid the first stone in 1520, this residence has been a silent witness to Antwerp's Golden Age. For centuries it housed the city's most influential figures, from burgomasters to noble artists.

Its grandeur remains untouched. Careful restoration has preserved every fresco, every parquet floor and every historic ornament — an invitation to write your own chapter within these walls.
